Title: Branding Director, AMEA snacks
The Branding Director for AMEA Snacks leads a team of 3 brand managers and is responsible for developing & leading the local execution of the annual regional Pringles commercial plans across all APAC markets.
Key priorities include:
- Designing winning local commercial plans executing regional Commercial & Product Innovation programs – in line with business strategy,
- Driving efficient & effective brand support model specific to each market,
- Delivering world class & innovative ATL & BTL communication plans
- Building a high-performing team (direct & with markets)
The role works across all markets in APAC and collaborates with multiple functions centrally and in markets, incl Marketing, Insights, Trade Marketing, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, R&T and external partners.
HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Support in developing AMEA Snacks commercial strategies.
- Lead the development of winning Product & Commercial Innovation execution plans anchored in powerful consumer insights to grow brand & category in each market.
- Develop holistic brand communication plans (creative execution, copy production, media strategy, sufficiency model) to support CI & PI programs in market.
- Step-change our brand communication model, unlocking new media capabilities (digital).
- Help step-change our shopper marketing in collaboration with trade marketing to help position Pringles as a category thought leader with customers & shoppers, designing shopper centric plans to support brand & customer annual plans.
- Drive the execution of aligned commercial plans in every market, ensuring brand support model and sufficiency levels (Trade, innovation, marketing) are adequate.
- Control of A&P budget and monitor spending vs. plan.
- Work closely with markets to execute plans with excellence and follow through in results.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
- Degree in either Business, Marketing, or related discipline. At least 12 years’ relevant work experience across Branding/Marketing.
- Strong commercial acumen: comfortable interpreting, analysing and leveraging data.
- Be able to empathize equally between consumer and shopper, translating insight and foresight into actions that drive demand for our business.
- Experience in owning and delivering communication and strategic insights, project plans and partnering with senior leaders and commercial teams.
- Develop and coach direct reports including all elements of the Talent Management process.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to think creatively and innovatively, build up and stretch into new areas.
- Self-motivated, organised, able to prioritise and manage multiple projects.
- Team player with a ‘can-do’ solutions-focused approach.
