Title: Continuous Improvement Coach
As the Continuous Improvement Coach, you’ll enhance plant performance by focusing on improving Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and achieving cost savings. Your role involves developing expertise in Kellanova Work Systems methodologies, systems, and tools. These methodologies cover various aspects, including safety, product quality, leadership, cost reduction, and employee performance.
The San Francisco Bay Area boasts a vibrant cultural diversity, making it a great place to live. San Jose, where the Eggo waffle originated, adds a touch of nostalgia to our location. As the sole Kellanova North America plant outside of the East Coast, we play a crucial role in supplying Eggo products to the West Coast.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Leadership: Supports the Phase Progression Campaign for Kellanova Work Systems. Coaches Kellanova Work Systems center of excellence leaders and members. Trains and coaches skills for all plant employees. Assists other Leadership in driving Kellanova Work Systems implementation. Coordinates Kellanova Work Systems training at all levels. Maintains positive relations with hourly workforce, plant management team, and corporate representatives.
- Business Acumen: Balances short-term business delivery with longer-term strategic priorities. Drives cost ideation and diagnostics. Executes High-Value Projects (SMED, ZLA, Problem Solving – 6W2H, Why-Why). Promotes standard work efforts.
- Kellanova Work Systems Champion: Actively supports Kellanova Work Systems activities within teams. Contributes to executing the Master plan. Acts as a technical resource for supervisors and managers. Champions safety initiatives.
- Efficiency Expert: Identifies process inefficiencies and loss sources. Coordinates cross-functional activities to eliminate inefficiencies. Tracks and communicates progress. Benchmarks and shares best practices.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- HS Diploma /GED
- Experience leading continuous improvement projects (Lean, TPM, Six Sigma, KWS, IWS, HPO).
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Compensation
The annual salary range is $102,200-$140,580, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
