Title:  Category Manager FTC 12 months

If you’re naturally curious, have a flair for numbers and are looking for your next challenge, come join us as a Category Manager on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract based in Media City, Manchester (hybrid working schedule).  

 

A key member of the Category team with the ability to translate category performance drivers, consumer insight and shopper trends into retailer and shopper occasion category stories, to allow us to deliver the triple win for Kellanova, retailers and the Customer.

 

In this Category Manager role, you will be responsible for category analysis, insight development and delivery and owning customer category opportunities through the full category management process. You will be responsible for delivering our Away from Home Strategy across all 3 of our categories.

 

 A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Commercial Engagement Be the expert on your category area, working cross functionally with the RGM, marketing and commercial teams to highlight opportunities and risks that impact Kellanova and Category growth.
  • Effective Communication Be the storyteller on relevant insights that drive our business performance & sharing this category narrative monthly across the business
  • Category Acumen – Manage categories for specific customers by supporting buyers and account managers, creating effective category growth plans, and guiding timely range reviews that match customer goals.
  • Category Management Leadership - Take ownership of category management responsibilities for designated customers by working closely with buyers and account managers. Develop and deliver data-driven category recommendations and actionable strategies to drive category sales growth.
  • Influencing Execution and Alignment - Use your expertise and persuasive skills to influence the execution of range reviews, ensuring they are aligned with customer objectives and timelines for optimal outcomes.
