Title:  Category Manager FTC 12 months

Our colleagues in the Category Management UK team are looking for a new Category Manager on a 12 month FTC. This is a hybrid role, based out of our Media City head office while giving you the flexibility to work where works best for you.

 

As we’re putting our hearts and souls into the future of food, we’ll be looking at you to lead the Customer Category Management for the Waitrose & Iceland accounts in a newly shaped role giving you a real opportunity to make a huge impact in a global business.


A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing 

 

  • Build a continuous and trusted category relationship - Driving the relationships with our customers through regular review meetings and identifying further growth opportunities by using customer data & insight to talk consistent category language.
  • Track category performance and market trends – Analyse category & assortment performance, as well as market trends, for customer business reviews, internal presentations & cross functional opportunity/risk highlighting.
  • Develop our customer assortment – Working in line with our Kellanova channel and portfolio growth strategies, advise customers in their range assortment and planogram decisions.
  • Trade stories & category vision – Partnering with marketing, sales and revenue growth management departments, build and present our category & business plans to our customers.
  • Build the assortment of the future – Support the development of new assortment by bringing your market expertise to the category and marketing teams.

 

We’re Looking for Someone With 

 

  • Minimum 2 years in FMCG within the UK market with experience in Category Management, Key Account/ National Account Management or Buying
  • Strong analytical skills, autonomy, and excellent organizational abilities
  • Excellent communicator with strong storytelling and presentation skills
  • Good commerciality & track record of unlocking growth
  • Full driver’s license (ideally)
