Title: Maintenance Manager
In the role of Maintenance Manager at our Rossville, TN plant, you will play a crucial part in identifying and delivering programs & processes essential to our plant operations. You will plan and execute the maintenance of site-wide equipment that supports the plant producing great food at a low cost 24/7. Managing and developing your team to provide a strong commitment to our strategic goals will be important to succeed together.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintenance Reliability – We believe in continuous improvement and strengthening our operations each and every day. You will be working collaboratively with the Maintenance and Operations teams to ensure resources are effectively focused on increasing reliability. You will also work closely with capital project teams to ensure maintenance and reliability are integrated into capital projects. You will be identifying, implementing and documenting maintenance and reliability best practices. Financial success is also important as you will be developing and managing the departmental budget.
- Strategic Thinking – Having an Owner’s Mindset and Agility is key to your success! You will use strong problem solving skills and root cause analysis to resolve and mitigate maintenance issues. You will be in charge of planning, scheduling, and executing planned and predictive maintenance activities. It’s important that you have a firm focus around the development of the maintenance area’s short-term and long-term strategic vision.
- People Management – You will be a leader that others will rely on. You will be supervising Maintenance Supervisors, Maintenance Planning, and any Maintenance purchasing or store personnel. You will be responsible for crewing the department and shift scheduling. You will be accountable to driving skills training, utilizing your resources to ensure your workforce is maintained at a high level.
Your Recipe for Success
- High school diploma/GED with extensive experience in a manufacturing setting with maintenance/planning supervision and/or management experience
- Ability to build strategic relationships with key stakeholders across the operation to ensure improved collaboration and deliver results.
- Substantial experience in SAP PM (SAP Super User a plus) OR a similar ERP system
- Experience implementing best in class maintenance programs and strategies (TPM, RCM, Planning/Scheduling, Predictive and Preventative Maintenance)
- Supervisory experience with salaried and hourly maintenance workforce. Experience working with a union is a plus
