Title:  Sanitation Lead

Description: 

The Sanitation Lead plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness of our physical plant and equipment, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment. This position supports the Sanitation Supervisor by directing work activities and instructing employees on proper sanitation procedures. The role is on-site in Rome, GA, following the 5 PM to 5 AM schedule either Sunday – Wednesday or Wednesday – Saturday shift with a pay of $26.27 an hour. This also involves working closely with a dedicated team to uphold high sanitation standards.

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Directing Work Activities – Assist the Sanitation Supervisor in maintaining the cleanliness of the physical plant and equipment.
  • Instructing Employees – Provide guidance on work rules, methods, and procedures for assigned tasks.
  • Monitoring Work Activity – Ensure safety rules and sanitation standards are followed, addressing any issues that arise.
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing - Disassemble, wash, clean, and sanitize all production line equipment after a changeover to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Maintaining Records - Check cleaning records for frequency, duration, temperature, concentration, and use of final sanitizing product.

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in using computers, specifically Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Ability to understand and follow safety rules, operating, and maintenance instructions.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of sanitation knowledge and experience.
  • Capability to make independent decisions within well-defined guidelines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide effective work direction and training.
