Title: Plant Inbound Outbound Scheduler
As the Plant Inbound-Outbound Scheduler, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate shipments to distribution centers and customers. You will coordinate receiving of raw and packaging materials and ingredients and ensure all shipments are processed efficiently. This position is located at our Rome, GA plant and works M-F normal business hours. You will be an integral part of our operations services team, helping keep our plant running smoothly and on-time.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Inventory Management – Schedule shipments in and out of plant. Put together the day-to-day outbound shipment schedule for shipping – cross-docking, warehouse, pass-thru, and dual pack. Process emergency requests for soonest possible delivery. Investigate and clear up all potential order cuts. Maintain functional warehouse inventory levels and manage floor balance.
- Compliance – Responsible for compliance with all regulations. Ensuring Food Safety and plant is always in proper sanitary conditions, including allergen control, pest control, guidelines are followed. Ensure adherence to all standard work processes and procedures.
- Risk Management – Maintain understanding of processes and functional interdependencies. Recognize and escalate, as needed those issues identified as risks to or opportunities to improve plant performance.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- High School Diploma/GED with relevant experience
- Advanced computer literacy within SAP or similar system, inventory location systems and Microsoft software applications
- Strong problem solving ability and negotiation skills with internal and external customers; effective communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work with employees at all level of the organization; ability to manage complex situations
- Ability to function in an union environment and promote positive employee relations
Compensation
The annual salary range is $72,900 - $95,655, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
