Title:  Manufacturing Operator

Start a career with purpose and long-term opportunity as a Manufacturing Operator at Kellanova’s Rome, GA facility, where we proudly produce Rice Krispies Treats. In this hands-on role, you’ll support safe, efficient production by operating and maintaining packaging and processing equipment while ensuring our products meet quality and food safety standards.

This is an on-site, 12-hour shift (5:00AM to 5:00PM OR 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM) working as part of a collaborative production team. The starting hourly pay rate for this position is $20.00 per hour, plus a $0.50 shift differential for night shifts. You’ll gain valuable mechanical experience, exposure to advanced manufacturing equipment, and opportunities to grow your skills within a stable, team-focused environment.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

• Operating Production & Packaging Equipment – Operate packaging, feeding, and production machinery in accordance with safety, quality, and production standards to manufacture finished products.
• Packaging & Material Feeding – Prepare, feed, and pack finished goods following prescribed packaging procedures to ensure product quality and accuracy.
• Monitoring Machine Performance – Ensure equipment is stocked, running at full capacity, and operating efficiently through routine checks and product inspections.
• Mechanical Troubleshooting & Maintenance – Perform basic mechanical adjustments, sanitization, and routine maintenance to support reliable equipment performance.
• Following Safety & GMP Standards – Prepare equipment for production while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices and all safety requirements.

We’re Looking for Someone With

• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain manufacturing or packaging equipment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds at or above waist height
• Willingness and availability to work overnight shifts, including overtime and holidays as required
• Ability to follow detailed verbal and written instructions
• Commitment to working safely in a food manufacturing environment
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for this role
