Area Manager in Rome - 12 Months Assignment 

 

Are you ready to elevate your career in sales management? Look no further! Kellanova (formerly Kellogg’s) invites you to join our team as a Sales Area Manager for Central Italy, where you will drive in-store excellence and sales growth across various channels. 

 

In this role you will report to the Field Sales Force and Operational Lead, manage the field sales force and teaming-up to ensure excellent in-store execution and the achievement of the sell out and KPI targets. You will be training the team, shadowing them, contributing to create the best future and emerging talents of Kellanova Company! 

 

Enjoy mobility and flexibility! You can be based in Rome, as long as you can be on the field 3 times per week and join the meetings in our office when needed, we are flexible about your location. A Taste of What You’ll be Doing 

  • Team Leadership and Training - Lead and train a Field Sales Representative team to achieve sell-out and KPI targets through in-store execution and shadowing sessions. 
  • Customer and Store Interaction - Engage directly with points of sales and customers, organizing international store-check visits and supporting external sales force projects. 
  • Cross-functional Coordination - Collaborate with the Sales Team, Commercial Board, Activation Team, Finance, Category, Supply Chain, and HR to ensure seamless operations. 
  • Strategic Planning and Execution - Define and implement annual in-store sales strategies, manage POP material, and ensure tool efficiency. 
  • Performance Analysis - Conduct regular analyses of sell-out KPIs, monitor competition, and provide insights to support business growth. 

 

We’re Looking for Someone With 

  • A broad experience in sales activities within the FMCG retail channel in the assigned area, with availability to travel. 
  • Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills, aligned with Kellanova's values of transparency and trust. 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration/Marketing /Economics/ Communications/Sales Management/Finance.
  • Excellent organizational skills, structured approach, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively. 
  • The ability to guide and develop team members, fostering growth and continuous improvement.
