Title: Senior National Account Executive
As a Senior National Account Executive for Sweet Snacking at Sam’s Club, you will drive profitable growth across all Kellanova categories by influencing customer purchasing. Your business acumen, selling skills, and communication will be key to meeting revenue goals. You'll collaborate with key customer contacts and advance your career in a thriving company culture. This position is preferred to be based in Northwest Arkansas.
As a key member of the Kellanova Club Team, you'll create sales opportunities and drive account growth while expanding your expertise and network. This role includes participation in the Kellanova Auto Reimbursement program for those driving at least 5,000 business miles annually.
A Taste of What You’ll be Doing
- Developing Accounts – Serve as the primary contact for category buyers, creating annual account-level business plans. You will set objectives to support all brands through distribution, promotion, pricing, and pallet presentation.
- Establishing Strategic Partnerships – Educate and develop rapport with internal and external customers, promoting partnerships, seeking feedback, and proactively addressing customer needs and requests. We’ll look to you to make our customer relationships even better.
- Develop Learning Agendas, Strategies, Plans and Analyze – Analytic foundation and strong understanding of shopper and consumer insights needed to develop 3–5-year customer strategies. Agility in creating, and re-creating plans as you analyze pre- and post- item performance and revise future programs as necessary. Knowing your business and executing business fundamentals will be imperative in driving sales growth!
- Managing Financial Budgets – Achieve key sales, trade, and profit/loss metrics by delivering on account-level priorities which include core item and rotational commitments. You will lead both demand and trade strategy/planning, carefully monitor spending, and make proactive corrections to adhere to planning accuracy goals.
- Understanding of Customer Service/Order to Delivery/Supply Chain – In this role you will be the key contact between your customer buying staff, Kellanova demand and supply chain, and Kellanova delivery team to ensure customer orders are fulfilled on time and in full. Responsible for SKU level forecasting accuracy which drives procurement and production schedules.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience in sales, marketing, category management, or consumer marketing.
- Top national account customer experience with direct selling and headquarter penetration.
- Consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry experience.
- Advanced project and process skillset, including experience with profit and loss statements and financial analysis.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills and advanced negotiation skills.
- Ability to thrive with multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities, extended work schedules, and specific time constraints
Compensation
The annual salary range is $140,480-$184,380 which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available
