Title:  Associate Manager, Category Management

Description: 

As an Associate Manager on our Category Management team, you will support our Walmart Frozen food business. In this exciting opportunity, you will leverage top-tier customer engagement and collaborative team-selling to develop mutually beneficial category-based solutions and foster deeper, more strategic customer relationships. By delivering exceptional customer service and insights, you will strengthen customer relationships and drive success.  This role will be on site in our Arkansas office 3 days a week.

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Develop Learning Agenda with Customer - Use your curiosity and proactive approach to create innovative retailer solutions based on consumer and shopper insights.
  • Build Fact-Based, Measurable Plans - Lead customer-specific initiatives to drive category growth, presenting and negotiating product placement projects to solve shopper problems.
  • Unlock Insights Through Data & Analytics - Drive business results by leading category management activities and identifying insights through robust analytics of category, consumer, shopper, market, and customer data.
  • Project Management – Your project management skills will be key in leading and supporting customer specific initiatives designed to deliver category growth.   
  • Driving Engagement – Leverage relationships with cross-functional partners to create tailored retail strategies and spearhead client-focused project.  

  

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • CPG and industry experience (i.e. Category Management, Shopper/Consumer Insights and/or sales experience)
  • Proficiency in using syndicated data (i.e. Nielsen, Circana), and retailer specific loyalty card data, shopper panel metrics and space planning software. (JDA, Apollo or Spaceman)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Previous experience communicating complex and/or detailed information to multiple individuals/audiences with differing knowledge levels, both in writing and verbally

 

Compensation 

The annual salary range is $87,200-$114,135 which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available
