Title: Convenience Retail Activator - 12 month Fixed Term Contract
Are you ready to lead an industry-respected team, representing some of the biggest brands in the food industry?
Join us as a Convenience Retail Activator on a 12-month fixed term contract and play a crucial role in our continued success and progression. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing and influencing a territory of Symbols and Independent convenience retailers across the South of the UK to help us deliver our ambitious growth target through this priority channel.
Reporting into the Areas Sales Lead and AFH Field Sales Manager, you will champion your territory to drive Kellanova branded listings and activations into stores and report back all your wins and challenges in role.
We’re looking for a pro-active and highly motivated character to get after a mixture of already established and new business opportunities. You will be winning driving our brand activation plans whilst launching exciting new innovations into stores.
You will be coached and supported in this role to further develop your customer facing and negotiation skills. This opportunity encourages an entrepreneurial attitude where you can really make a name for yourself here at Kellanova.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing:
- Build your customer network: Use a data led approach, you will develop your strategic approach in prioritising the key customers and contacts.
- Unlocking New Opportunities: Unlock new relationships and opportunities across your customer base and develop relationships directly with the business owners and key decision makers.
- Maximizing Our Portfolio: Ensure our ranging and distribution is maximised across your region and driving our growth through both existing ranging and future innovation launches.
- Amplifying our Plans: At the heart of the role, you will be responsible for how you drive activation through amplifying our plans to deliver growth targets using the tool kit which will be available, with a focus on POS and display activation in key weeks and events.
- Commercial Skills: You will apply your commercial acumen to work with customers using all available tools to ensure our approach to growth is enabled with category insight, channel expertise and a clear execution of the strategic plan.
We’re looking for Someone With:
- Excellent communication, presentation & influencing skills
- Great relationship building skills to build your regional relationship matrix
- Curiosity, passion and ownership for growing the channel through winning with Kellanova brands and approach
- Motivated and driven approach to work independently, whilst also being part of a wider field-based team.
