Title: US Payroll Tax Support Specialist
Are you ready to ensure accuracy in payroll processing and compliance with tax regulations? Join our team as a US Payroll Tax Support Specialist. In this role, you will manage payroll tax compliance, garnishments, and maintain detailed financial records to ensure smooth payroll operations. You'll also assist with tax reporting, audits, and year-end reporting, while safeguarding sensitive employee information with the highest level of confidentiality.
You'll play a key role in supporting payroll administration and support reporting activities, while communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Let’s make an impact together! This role is in Querétaro.
Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Payroll Processing Lifecycle Management: Manage the full Payroll Processing lifecycle, including wage calculations, deductions, and timely employee payments.
- Administrative Support for Payroll Tax Compliance: Provide administrative support for payroll tax processes, such as filings, deposits, returns, and reconciliations.
- Payroll Data Review and Accuracy: Conduct reviews of payroll data to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy in reports and pay runs.
- Employee Taxation Updates: Update employee records to reflect correct taxation for new hires, transfers, and relocations.
- Confidentiality and Compliance in Fast-Paced Environments: Maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll and financial information while meeting strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of proven experience in payroll processing, payroll tax, and/or finance.
- Strong proficiency in Payroll, Payroll Tax, Garnishment/Child Support processes. (United States)
- Advanced English skills (verbal and written communication).
- Proficiency with Dayforce Payroll or similar platforms, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Exceptional accuracy, detail orientation, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Analytical skills for resolving complex payroll and tax issues.
