Title:  Temporary Finance and Accounting Specialist

Description: 

Join our GBS as a Temporary Finance and Accounting Specialist and play a critical part in supporting brand building and trade spending activities during a maternity leave coverage. The position owns the end-to-end financial and accounting processes for two key commercial areas, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This role offers strong exposure to cross-functional stakeholders and hands-on ownership of financial operations.

 

You will work closely with teams based in the U.S. and Querétaro as part of a collaborative, highly technical finance environment. The role is particularly exciting for someone who enjoys autonomy, fast learning, and deep involvement in financial statements and commercial finance topics, while operating independently without direct people management responsibilities. This position is located in Queretaro and it's a temporary 3-month role.

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • End-to-End Financial Ownership — Manage the complete brand building and trade spending financial process, from planning through accounting and reporting.
  • Cross-Border Collaboration — Act as the key financial point of contact between U.S. and Querétaro teams, ensuring alignment and clear communication.
  • Accounting Records Management — Own and maintain all accounting entries and controls related to brand building and trade spending activities.
  • Financial Reporting — Prepare and deliver accurate financial reports for both areas, supporting visibility and decision-making.
  • Systems & Data Management — Leverage SAP and advanced Excel to analyze, reconcile, and report financial data efficiently.

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Solid accounting knowledge and experience with financial records and reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
  • Hands-on experience working with SAP.
  • Advanced English proficiency, with ability to work in highly technical finance discussions.
