Title: Team Leader
Do you enjoy driving production needs results in food industry? Join our Supply Chain team as a Production Team Leader, where you’ll ensure the safe and efficient execution of the production plan for your shift. You’ll focus on achieving key performance metrics—EHSS (Environment, Health, Safety & Security), QFS (Quality & Food Safety), Cost, and Service—through effective team coordination and seamless communication with maintenance and support resources.
In this role, you’ll lead a team of 20 operators on your assigned production line and collaborate closely with stakeholders such as Maintenance, Quality, Food Safety, Logistics, and Process Engineering teams. Reporting directly to the Line Leader, you’ll play a critical part in driving operational excellence. This onsite position in Querétaro requires rotational shift availability.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Production Compliance: Ensure production delivery aligns with the shift plan, effectively communicating prior shift results, highlighting priorities, and addressing potential risks.
- KPIs Monitoring and Updates: Update performance indicators for the assigned platform, participate in DDS2 and DDS3 meetings to review shift results and daily line performance.
- Data Monitoring and Analysis: Define critical data systems (CTQ/CTP), monitor trends, and analyze data to detect abnormalities, reduce variability, and drive corrective actions.
- Problem-Solving and Support: Identify trends in key indicators, escalate issues as needed, perform root cause analysis, and operate equipment on the assigned line if required.
- Team Collaboration and Development: Support shift personnel during incidents, participate in Quality, AM, RM, and Service COEs, and engage in technical training programs to enhance leadership competencies.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or any related field.
- 3 years of experience in plant or manufacturing team leader.
- English proficiency.
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate operative team members.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to make effective decisions.
