Title:  Power Control & Information Systems, Digital, Automation Technology Manager

Description: 

Join the K Family, this position can either be in Queretaro (Mx) or San Lorenzo (Br). This role will ensure we have the right Power, Controls, and Information Systems (PCIS), Smart Factory & Automation strategy and capability to support the Latin America business.

You will be sponsoring and staffing to ensure deployment of the Global PCIS, Smart Factory and Automation programs.

 

  • You will provide deep and broad technical support and equipment technology expertise for PC&IS, SM & Automation Engineering issues to plants and projects. 

 

  • Technical influence and impact is global.

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

  • Drive Technical solutions and Expertise – for Innovation and Supply Chain through delivery of cost-effective, high-quality scope (Tech Briefs) and effective team collaboration. Develop technical expertise to prepare to collaborate as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) leader or team member or Platform Leader. Consult as an expert on technical issues with plants and project teams   and have influence on technical aspects of projects.  Influence may be global.
  • Development of a robust Strategy for PCI&IS -Daily Standard Conditions: Maintain optimal operations for consistent quality and productivity. Overall Equipment Effectiveness Improvement: Drive efficiency enhancements and maximize output. Problem Solving Tools: Utilize structured methodologies to identify and resolve issues. Equipment Owners Support: Ensure reliable equipment performance through maintenance and troubleshooting. Technology Improvement: Implement cutting-edge solutions for operational excellence. Preventive Maintenance Plans: Enhance schedules and strategies to optimize equipment functionality.
  • Project Accountabilities – Deliver project accountabilities through effective risk management, drive scope alignment, leverage global technical expertise (SMEs, Platform Leads) and standard designs and specs. Effectively use Integrated Project Delivery (IPD)
  • Create Networks – Leverage the people network, plant network, vendors, technologies, and experts around you to excel in your job.
  • People Management- Ensure work of Direct Reports is completed. Effectively complete the people evaluation process. Provide support for career planning. Plan and maintain group skill capability.

 

Your Recipe for Success

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Advanced English (This role will be in constant contact with global positions)
  • 5-10 years related work experience in Engineering or related areas.
  • Experience and Knowledge in Power Systems (Safety and compliance), Control Systems (Obsolescence & Disaster Recovery) Automation, Smart factory, and Cybersecurity
  • Drives alignment, influencing in SR Leader teams, navigates conflict effectively with clear communication, prioritize effectively.
