Title: Logistics Head
Do you enjoy leading logistics and planning with a strategic vision? Join our team as Logistics & Planning Leader. In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving the strategic management of the logistics and planning area—ensuring commercial requirements are met, operational efficiency is achieved, budget control is maintained, and team development is fostered. You’ll oversee end-to-end logistics processes, coordinate with suppliers, and optimize resource allocation to guarantee seamless operations and cost alignment. This position is based in Queretaro.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the logistics and planning area strategically: ensuring compliance with commercial plans through effective leadership, cross-functional coordination, and 12‑month production visibility.
- Manage raw materials and distribution: via external logistics operators (3PL), guaranteeing efficient flow of inputs and finished goods to key clients.
- Administer the assigned USD $3MM budget: negotiating supplier costs and ensuring efficient use aligned with strategic objectives.
- Drive operational efficiency and compliance: overseeing invoicing, shipping, internal controls, safety policies, and quality programs while implementing cost‑saving projects.
- Foster team growth and organizational culture: developing logistics talent, promoting safe and sustainable practices, and collaborating in transversal initiatives (GEMBA, RACI, audits).
We’re Looking for Someone With
- Experience: Advanced 3PL management, demand planning, budget control, continuous improvement (2+ years).
- Technical Background: Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, Food Chemistry, or related field.
- Skills: Negotiation, leadership, strategic thinking, effective communication.
- Tools Proficiency: Strong command of SAP planning tools.
- Values: Courage, Responsibility, Integrity (Kellanova).
- Leadership: Talent development, effective team building, culture and engagement.
- Validation: Proven experience, prior training evidence, or defined training program if required.
