Junior Accounts Payable Specialist

 

Are you passionate about data and ready to drive impactful decisions? Join our Finance  team as a Junior Accounts Payable specialist.  You’ll be responsible for tracking and following up on payment complements with suppliers, ensuring proper reconciliation and compliance, and identifying opportunities for process improvement and automation.

 

This role is located Querétaro, México and offers flexible work models.

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Payment Complement Follow-Up and Tracking: Daily follow-up on payment complements for Mexican suppliers in the KLA region, ensuring they are properly issued and validated in the NASA system.
  • Monitoring and Reporting of Pending Payments: Export and update databases to generate reports and tracking files with the status of pending payment complements.
  • Supplier communication and support: Contact suppliers through various communication channels (email, phone, etc.) to request payment complements, address inquiries, and respond to emails/tickets within 48 hours.
  • Reconciliation and escalation of cases: Reconcile payment complements with different banks for SCF-Factoring suppliers and escalate delays to the appropriate teams (AP owner, Tax, and Procurement).
  • Improvement and optimization: Identify opportunities for automation, simplification, and process improvement, collaborating with other teams to enhance financial reporting and system efficiency.

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/ finance/business-Related.
  • 1 Year of previous experience in accounts payable positions
  • Intermediate MS Office skills, especially Excel and Power Point.
  • English intermediate / advanced language
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
