Title:  Internal Control Lead


If you’re ready to bring the best, join the Finance team as a Internal Control Lead reporting to the LA SS Internal Control Sr Head. You will play a role by being responsible to ensure that financial risks across KLA are identified and mitigated through a solid internal control framework on a timely manner. Promote risk management culture in GBS KLA, handling different local, fiscal and legal implications. Provide guidelines within the processes; focus on the fulfillment of Corporate and Regional policies, internal procedures, statutory requirements and key controls. This role is located in Querétaro, México, with the expectation to be in the office 3 days per week – subject to change.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing


  • Prevention of Financial risks and frauds: Conduct control environment assessments including Process and Procedures evaluations throughout KLA to ensure an efficient control framework in order to prevent financial risks and frauds.
  • Compliance: Ensure the compliance of SOX 404 Formulates compliance strategies in order to ensure all controls are implemented and performed within GBS processes. Monitors the actions to ensure compliance with policies, standards, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations. Follow up to ensure Remediation plans compliance.
  • Support to the Business: Provide policies and procedures consultancy. Support of Business Unites processes inquiries. Presents insights to decision makers in a correct, clear, concise, and confident manner.


We’re Looking for Someone With


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with previous accounting, auditing or other business related experience.
  • SOX / Internal Control knowlege/experience. 
  • Advanced English communication and written is mandatory. Portuguese proficiency is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills and be detail-oriented.
  • Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • SAP knowledge.
