Title: Intercompany Senior Specialist
Are you passionate about financial processes and global collaboration? As an Intercompany Senior Specialist at Kellanova, you’ll play a key role in managing and improving our intercompany financial operations. Based in Querétaro, you’ll be responsible for ensuring accurate reporting, reconciliation, and transactional processing across multiple entities, while collaborating with global teams and external partners.
This is a great opportunity to become a subject matter expert in intercompany finance, drive process improvements, and support strategic decision-making in a dynamic, multinational environment with exposure to all regions.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and Execute Intercompany Reconciliation – Own the entire process of verifying balances between entities, performing detailed balance sheet reconciliations, and clearing discrepancies promptly. You’ll ensure compliance with global standards and provide documentation for audits, demonstrating accountability and ownership.
- Support Month-End Close with Precision – Manage heavy workloads during closing periods by preparing multi-currency journal entries, reviewing settlement requests, and analyzing variances. You’ll also monitor FX controls and ensure timely, accurate reporting aligned with global timelines.
- Collaborate Across Global Teams and Stakeholders – Coordinate with external team in Mumbai, internal finance groups, and external auditors. You’ll interact with multiple regions, gaining significant exposure and building strong relationships across functions like Supply Chain, HR, and Corporate Control.
- Drive Process Optimization and Automation – Implement improvements by automating working files, enhancing reconciliation tools, and streamlining reporting processes. Your curiosity and problem-solving mindset will help identify gaps and deliver innovative solutions.
- Deliver Strategic Reporting and IT Contributions – Prepare recurring and ad-hoc reports for business reviews, support IT development initiatives, and contribute to system enhancements that improve efficiency and accuracy across global operations.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 3–4 years of finance or accounting experience. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and journal entries.
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, multiple workbooks) and SAP experience.
- Fluent English (required); Portuguese is a plus.
- Able to prioritize under pressure, independent, accountable, and curious to learn and solve problems.
- Experience in multinational environments and remote collaboration.
