Title:  Government Relations Manager

We are looking for a dynamic professional to drive high-impact engagement with government authorities, trade associations, and key stakeholders. This role is critical to navigating Mexico’s regulatory landscape and positioning Kellanova as a trusted partner in the region.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead Strategic Engagement – Develop and execute the annual Government Relations Plan; proactively engage with federal, state, and local authorities to support business continuity and growth.
• Monitor Policy & Mitigate Risk – Track key policy areas (e.g., sustainability, agro-food systems, trade); build intelligence tools to anticipate risks and inform strategy.
• Strengthen Alliances – Build and manage relationships with trade associations, NGOs, and peer companies; co-develop shared-value initiatives.
• Drive Thought Leadership – Prepare speeches, talking points, and briefing materials for executive engagements; activate storytelling to reinforce institutional trust.
• Protect Reputation – Lead crisis response and reputation management efforts in coordination with Legal, Regulatory, and Communications teams.

We’re Looking for Someone With

• 5+ years of experience in Government Relations, Public Policy, or Corporate Affairs; preferably in the food or FMCG industry.
• Proven track record managing complex stakeholder environments and high-level government engagement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Political Science, Public Affairs, International Relations or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese is a plus.
• Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and influence skills.
• Experience with policy analysis, regulatory affairs, and sustainability frameworks.
