Title:  Global Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

Are you ready to take on a critical role in global financial consolidation and analysis? Join Kellanova’s Financial Team as a Global Financial Planning & Analysis Manager. You will lead the consolidation of the Total Kellanova financial statements, oversee key reporting processes, and provide insightful financial recommendations to senior leadership.

 

This position is based in Querétaro, México, and offers a flexible model of work besides an exciting opportunity to make an impact in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Global Financial Consolidation: Manage the consolidation of the Total Kellanova financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow) during budget, forecast, and reporting cycles. Validate regionally submitted data, load centralized costs, and execute critical system processes in BPC.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Oversee the creation of financial summaries, FX analyses, and ad hoc reports. Coordinate global reporting for Commercial and Supply Chain teams, ensuring accuracy and relevance for decision-making.
  • Quality of Earnings (QoE) Oversight: Consolidate and validate regional QoE submissions, collaborate with Supply Chain on COGS reporting, and prepare final submissions for PwC review.
  • Strategic Calendar and Templates: Lead the creation and management of the corporate financial planning calendar and reporting templates (e.g., Day 10 Results, Budget, Forecasts, Outlook). Ensure timely issuance and approval of templates for leadership.
  • Executive Reporting: Compile financial information for key events such as earnings calls, investor communications, and board meetings, providing valuable insights to support leadership decisions.

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required, with 3–5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial systems (e.g., BPC) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Familiarity with reading and interpreting financial statements is essential.
  • Ability to analyze financial results, explain key variances, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, accounting principles, and general business concepts.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and present findings to senior leadership in English.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience managing or mentoring a team, with a focus on team development and cross-functional collaboration.
