Junior Cost Analyst
Are you passionate about working with data, understanding how costs impact the business, and supporting financial decision-making? Join our Finance team as a Junior Cost Analyst and play a key role in helping transform financial and operational information into clear insights for the business.
In this role, you will collaborate with different teams, support cost visibility initiatives, and contribute to analyses that help leaders better understand performance and opportunities.
This role is located in Querétaro and offers the opportunity to learn, grow, and gain exposure within a regional finance environment while working closely with experienced finance leaders.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Data analysis and reporting – Acts as a back-office role responsible for collecting, downloading, consolidating, and analyzing financial information, as well as building and maintaining databases and reports that support decision-making within the Finance function.
- Cost integration – Integrates and analyzes Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and Distribution Costs for the CARICAM Business Unit, explaining Warehouse/Overhead variances within the Distribution line and identifying risks or opportunities.
- Financial support and moderate risk analysis – Analyzes and evaluates moderate-risk financial projects, mainly for the Marketing area (e.g., distribution costs), providing analytical support to the Sr. Finance Head and Finance Head.
- Financial close and data accuracy – Supports the monthly close by uploading journal entries in the Journal Entry Portal, in coordination with the Finance Head, ensuring accurate posting of information and applying accounting concepts.
- Executive reporting and costing activities – Prepares executive reports and presentations, develops analyses, calculates landed costs for new countries (existing routes), gathers quotations for new product costing, and manages cost extensions and ICP costing in SAP and MDO
We’re Looking for Someone With
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or similar fields.
- 1–2 years of experience
- Ability to build and manage data using Excel (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP, SUMIF) and Power BI, with basic knowledge of SAP.
- Intermediate English proficiency, written and spoken, with the ability to communicate effectively, prioritize tasks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset to work with financial and operational data.
