Title:  Electrical Maintenance Coordinator.

Description: 

Do you have a passion for keeping critical infrastructure running at peak performance? Join our Engineering team as an Electrical Maintenance Coordinator. In this role, you’ll lead the implementation and execution of maintenance programs that ensure optimal conditions for electrical substations, self-supply systems, and UPS (No-Break) equipment. You’ll develop and oversee maintenance plans, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure alignment with safety, procurement, quality, and sanitation policies to support the achievement of our company’s goals.

 

You’ll play a key role in safeguarding the reliable operation of our power generation station, preventing financial impacts from billable demand charges, and avoiding plant downtime during potential CFE supply interruptions. Your expertise will help us maintain operational excellence and secure uninterrupted production. This position is based in Querétaro.

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinates multidisciplinary teams—including engineering, procurement, construction, and quality—to ensure alignment and flawless execution of project deliverables.
  • Budget & Resource Optimization: Manages capital and expense budgets, tracks expenditures, and implements improvement initiatives for maintenance contracts to optimize spending and meet savings targets.
  • Preventive Maintenance Oversight: Ensures high-standard execution of preventive maintenance programs for substations, distribution panels, UPS (No-Break) systems, and generators, aligned with safety and company policies.
  • Contingency & Risk Management: Develops blackout contingency plans, trains corrective teams, and provides clear operational diagrams to minimize downtime and operational risks.
  • Energy Efficiency Strategy: Executes the plant’s energy savings strategy, focusing on priorities and optimizing resources to meet E-Metric performance goals.

 

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

  • Knowledge of substations, distribution panels, UPS (No-Break) systems, and generators.
  • Proficient in SAP for maintenance and operational management.
  • Budget management and cost control expertise.
  • Skilled in managing contracts and simultaneously overseeing multiple suppliers.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
