Title: Cost Controller Analyst
If you’re ready to bring the best, join the Finance team as a Cost Controller Analyst. You’ll be responsible for consolidate, analyze, and review plant’s finance results, including cost of production and other costs related. Also, responsible for preparing the plant’s budget and outlooks, providing a full understanding of the plant’s total cost. This role is located in Querétaro, México, with the expectation to be in the office 5 days per week – subject to change. Travel is required on a demand basis (punctual field visits, specific ad-hoc projects).

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Finance Business Partnering: Perform Finance business partnering activities for the plant, including scenario analysis, opportunity areas identification and validation, accounting guidelines, etc.
- Plant’s Results: Consolidate plant’s results, including savings transferred, approved OTC / OTB, obsolete estimates, full capacity impacts, etc. Prepare plant’s deck for period end and budget / outlook reviews.
- Factory Expenses Budget Management: Ensure users prepare their Factory Expenses budget according to guidelines and expected inflation, consolidate results and review with plant’s leadership team, this includes People Cost estimates and budget estimates for Maintenance, Utilities, Quality, Manufacturing Supplies, etc. Review and update budget parameters (allocation cycles, maintenance rates, etc.) and ensure matches with planning scenarios. Review Plant’s factory expenses actuals and compare against targets, including accruals review and validation.
- Internal Audits: Perform required internal audit and internal control requirements.
- Review, Evaluate and Validate: Review and evaluate opportunity areas for assigned challenges and targets. Ensure plant follows ZBB guidelines and is aligned to targets established. Validate and review plant’s capital investment requirements.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or others related.
- 3+ years of experience working as Finance Planning and Analysis.
- Advanced Excel skills, including database management and SAP transactional analytics.
- Demonstrated experience influencing stakeholders to achieve financial targets.
- Must be proactive, analytical thinking, presentation skills, strategic mindset and customer focus. Strong communication, financial planning skills and financial analysis.
- English proficiency.
