Title:  Category Management Executive - Temporal

Description: 

Are you passionate about shopper insights, category strategy, and influencing customer decisions? Join our Category Management team as a Category Management Executive, partnering with Soriana, OXXO and Fragua, to guide category growth across channels while positioning Kellanova’s as a strategic enabler. You’ll lead insightsdriven strategies, build highlevel customer relationships, manage confidential data, and develop CATMAN talent.

 

This is a temporary role with a duration of 6 months.

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Lead customer category strategy, influencing Client’s teams to drive category growth beyond brand performance.
  • Manage omnichannel collaboration including shelf strategy, eCATMAN, POS initiatives, pricing, and innovation needs.
  • Deliver weekly scorecards, monthly/quarterly/yearly Business Reviews, and category performance insights.
  • Oversee the annual line review process and coordinate quarterly planograms with external partners.
  • Maintain captaincy performance and ensure shelf placement aligns with Kellanova CATMAN vision.
  • Identify white spaces, trends, and opportunities to guide Categories, Sales, and Multifunctional teams.
  • Build strong relationships with Client’s stakeholders and internal leaders across RGM, BI, Sales, CS&L, Brand, and more.
  • Prepare and present executive summaries, reports, and strategic updates to Kellanova and customer leadership.
  • Lead and develop a CATMAN Trainee, strengthening future talent pipelines.

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

  • +3 years of CPG experience, ideally in Sales.
  • Must have experience in Insights, Customer Marketing, or Category Management.
  • Deep knowledge of local market dynamics and key customers (Walmart, Soriana, and/or other).
  • Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency in Retail Link, Excel, Access, PowerBI, Tableau.
  • Advanced experience with Space Planning, Nielsen (RIE/Scantrack), ISCAM, Euromonitor. Negotiation fundamentals and strong business acumen.
  • Competencies: Nimble learning, customer focus, omnichannel mindset, strong ownership and results orientation.
  • Languages: Spanish and English (advanced).
