Title:  Quality & Food Safety Analyst

Description: 

Are you passionate about ensuring the highest standards of quality and food safety? As a Quality & Food Safety Analyst (Temporary), you will play a critical role in executing and monitoring food safety prerequisite programs, maintaining compliance with regulatory and corporate standards, and driving continuous improvement across our Querétaro Plant in México.

 

You’ll be part of the Supply Chain / Operations team, working closely with cross-functional partners including Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality leadership. This role is key to protecting consumers, ensuring regulatory compliance, and strengthening our food safety culture through data-driven decisions and operational excellence. This position is located in Queretaro

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

• Lead Prerequisite Programs Execution – Ensure effective implementation and follow-up of food safety prerequisite programs, including annual review of procedures, formats, and quality system documentation.
• Drive Incident Investigation & Compliance – Lead documentation and follow-up of food safety incidents, deviations from prerequisite programs, operational or sanitary out-of-standard conditions, and non-conformities derived from audits or regulatory visits.
• Execute Training & Standards Updates – Deliver regulatory and food safety training programs under your responsibility and maintain procedures aligned with new regulatory and corporate standards.
• Support HACCP & Plant Audits – Act as an active member of the HACCP team and Quality & Food Safety Center of Excellence, executing GMP audits and plant food safety assessments.
• Analyze KPIs & Promote Continuous Improvement – Analyze plant KPIs and prerequisite program data to identify trends, trigger root cause analysis, and ensure effective corrective actions.
• Drive Action Plan Effectiveness – Facilitate root cause analysis, ensure execution of corrective and preventive actions, and verify their effectiveness.

 

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

  • • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field
    • Minimum 80% English proficiency (written and verbal)
    • Experience in food safety systems, prerequisite programs, and GMP audits
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and drive root cause analysis
    • Knowledge of HACCP principles and regulatory compliance requirements
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based systems for data analysis and documentation
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
    • High attention to detail and accuracy in data verification
