Title: Labor Relations Advisor
As a key member of the Plant HR team, you will foster positive employee and labor relations across the site. You will serve as a trusted partner to employees, leaders, and union representatives by managing associate concerns and grievances, coaching leaders on labor relations practices, supporting labor-management initiatives, and ensuring consistent application of labor agreements and company policies. You will also provide critical support for labor negotiations, arbitrations, investigations, and employee engagement activities.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- People First: Support employee and labor relations activities, including investigations, conflict resolution, corrective actions, performance management, and grievance administration while helping foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Labor Relations Partnership: Build positive working relationships with employees, union representatives, and site leadership while supporting effective labor-management interactions and contract administration.
- Coaching & Development: Learn and apply labor relations best practices while partnering with leaders and HR team members to address employee concerns and workplace challenges.
- Compliance in Action: Maintain accurate documentation, HR records, investigations, and grievance tracking while ensuring compliance with company policies, labor agreements, and employment regulations.
- Visible Leadership: Build trust through an active presence on the production floor, serving as a resource for employees, supervisors, and leaders.
- Culture Builder: Support employee engagement initiatives, HR technology adoption, and programs that enhance the employee experience.
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with Operations, Corporate HR, Labor Relations, and Shared Services teams to support site objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
We're Looking for Someone With
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education, coursework, and relevant work experience.
- Experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations, Labor Relations, or a related field within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working in a union environment or demonstrated understanding of the differences between union and non-union workplaces.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to establish trust and credibility across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Demonstrated learning agility, curiosity, and willingness to seek guidance, apply feedback, and continuously develop new skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive situations with sound judgment, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications; experience with Kronos/Ceridian and SAP is a plus.
Compensation
The annual salary range is $79,400-$109,230, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
