This on-site IT Support role is based in Kellanova Thailand, where you’ll work closely with the Onsite IT Lead to ensure smooth day-to-day IT operations across the business. You’ll provide technical support to end-users, manage IT assets and service requests, and help maintain system reliability and performance. The role is part of a collaborative regional IT infrastructure team, known for its strong partnership with cross-functional teams and proactive problem-solving culture. You’ll be involved in both daily support and longer-term infrastructure projects that directly impact business efficiency.
This position offers exciting opportunities to gain hands-on experience with regional infrastructure projects, system upgrades, and service delivery improvements. You’ll have the chance to work closely with senior IT leaders and regional teams, enhancing your exposure to enterprise-level IT operations and cross-country collaboration. High-performing individuals can grow into specialized infrastructure or IT management roles within the regional IT function. The role also offers unique development opportunities through project participation, mentorship from experienced IT leads, and involvement in initiatives that shape the company’s digital strategy.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Assist the onsite IT lead to provide day-to-day IT support and resolution services to users for technical assistance and support; troubleshoot PC operations which will enable end-users to operate daily business efficiently.
- Assist the onsite IT lead all IT asset management, inventory related to the IWPS domain
- The incumbent should possess an excellent understanding of service desk procedures as well as an understanding of desktop software, hardware, and communications.
- Have experience in: User account management in windows based Active Directory systems
- Responsible for service requests logging, the prioritization and escalation of all services related Service Desk calls within Kellanova Thailand
- Assist the onsite IT lead works closely with all levels of function colleagues to communicate and resolve systems issues in each functional area
- Assist the onsite IT lead to proactively managing and/or participating in various IT-related projects
- Assist the onsite IT lead to periodic performance system (performance, usage, traffic, reliability, fault & failure, backup status, DR status, patch, security violation and so on) and inventory assessment to provide periodic management reporting and quickly communicate issues and recommendations when necessary
- Assist the onsite IT leads in completing action plans for their recommendations in a timely manner
- Troubleshoot and recover the issues of network, firewall, servers, and security
- Make sure all IT related work is done in compliance with company’s policy.
- Assisting the onsite IT lead in maintaining IT Policies, Procedures Manual, IT Operational Procedures, System Risk Assessment, and IT DR plan.
- Works as part of project team to deliver infrastructure elements of projects as directed by the Project Manager and / or the Regional IT Infrastructure Team.
- Assist the onsite IT lead in any local infrastructure upgrade projects with support and guidance from regional IT Infrastructure Managers.
Work Environment
- Work is performed in typical office environment including normal work activities.
- Role is in Chonburi – Thailand as primary location
- Beyond office, some work activities will be expected on the shopfloor, warehouses and/or SCM related facilities (3PL sites) as when required
- This position requires regular attendance and punctuality in accordance with Company policies. Additionally, the ability to interact well with other employees and work after hours, as necessary, is required.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- Minimal Diploma in an appropriate discipline (preferably Computer Sciences, MIS or Information System) with at least 1-2 years of IT infrastructure/End user support experience. CPG Industry is a plus but not a must.
- Significant computer literacy including understanding of information services related technologies and ITIL lifecycle.
- Solid interpersonal skills, communication skills, problem solving, planning, analytical skills and project management skills.
- Able to communicate effectively in English (both oral and written) and other languages will be an advantage.
- Possess past work experience in manufacturing environment will be added advantage
- Service oriented attitude and act within IT policy principle
