Title: Senior Manager, IT DMIT and eCommerce
As the Senior Manager, IDS – DMIT and E-Commerce, in Naperville, IL or Battle Creek, MI, you will be responsible for the Sustainment operations activities focused over two main areas: our eCommerce (D2C and B2B) programs and product management of Infrastructure for our Digital Marketing global platform. We need a technology leader who can partner with our Marketing & Brand organization and drive continuous improvements in these two areas to maximize the value of our IT applications and platform and enable Kellanova’s Digital modernization journey for Deploy for growth strategy.
In this role, you will develop a lean culture from the ground up. You will measure and report on performance and leverage stakeholders’ feedback to drive continuous improvements. You will partner across all levels and functions within the company and vendors to ideate programs, draw insights from data, and provide thought leadership to best serve our internal customers. In this capacity, you will be the single point of contact for all internal communications, the primary contact during execution as the service owner for deliverables for eCommerce and DMIT Infrastructure projects. You will own the operations, workflow and product management, driving collaboration between both internal and external teams. This role will manage the relationship between the core team and Kellanova’s cross functional teams comprised of business, security, legal, UI design agency partner, vendors, and others, towards the successful development and deployment of projects which are often under constrained and overlapping schedules. This position requires an energetic, experienced self-starter with a history of successful major programs or projects and increasing levels of responsibility.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Owner Mindset: Use data and metrics to drive standardization or automation across improvements. Own program strategy and end to end delivery. Be adept at making trade-off to balance business vs technology needs/constraints to resolve bottlenecks and deliver incremental value. You will identify ways to integrate Consumer Affairs & 1P data and enable new acquisition methods to grow Kellanova’s IP data. As needed, drive ticket analysis by connecting data points across various sources - (Analytics, Campaigns, etc.) You will ensure best practices and modern software delivery methods are consistently applied and set direction for best practices within the program and DMIT platform.
- Customer Focus: Demonstrate your experience in supporting business development, driving global programs through collaboration with remote teams. Work closely with Kellanova’s business and vendor onshore team with an agile vision on how to deliver products and services. Prioritize and drive partnerships in a dynamic and growing area. Full line management duties for delivery management team including people management.
- Project Continuity: Ensure projects are delivered on budget and on time through your proficient experience in using Agile methodologies. Spearhead cost effort-based analysis and help Kellanova’s reduce TOC (total operating cost). Conduct regular remediation assessments that will improve business ROI. Identify and drive varied ways to reduce ticket turnaround time with vendors.
- Change Management: Leverage your experience in product management, ITIL framework, to manage our digital content with a passion for technology. Setup the trajectory for successful project, being able to pitch and convince business on recommendation framework to achieve the program vision. Ensure timely execution of promotions, launch, early identification of risks, followed by mitigation plan in direction of our vendors and internal teams. Manage schedules and alignment with our agency partners. Reporting of overall project delivery and ensuring accurate reporting.
Your Recipe for Success
- High School Diploma or GED and extensive related experience
- Comprehensive and thorough knowledge of ITIL processes for managing operations for a large organization, preferably in the CPG industry
- Strong leadership and communication skills and the ability to collaborate across all groups and levels; must be able to interface and coordinate work efficiently and effectively with business partners or vendors in remote locations and proven experience working on large, complex projects or as a support lead for Operations with a proven track record of delivering results
- Strong business acumen, analytical aptitude, project management skills, problem-solving skills and capability to formulate issues and recommendations clearly
- Experience developing, implementing and ensuring adherence to policies, procedures and standards to ensure IT delivers value to the enterprise
- Financial acumen and management skills specific to project budgets and people cost including vendor management experience, inclusive of negotiation related to cost, scope, and timing utilizing staff augmentation or fix bid models
- Experience managing or building alignment with global IT teams with intimate understanding of platform architecture for Digital Marketing or Analytics platforms
