Title:  Senior Manager, Distributor Development

Description: 

Advance your career as a Senior Manager, Distributor Development supporting Gordon Food Service (GFS). In this exciting role, you’ll lead strategy, planning, execution, and budgeted growth delivery of category and segment goals across Kellanova’s portfolio. This is a fully remote position and can be based anywhere in the Midwestern US with the ability to travel up to 60%.

As part of the Away From Home Food Service sales team, you’ll establish a strong GFS headquarters presence through a team-selling approach, leveraging connections with Commercial Strategy, Category Management, Supply Chain, and Portfolio teams.

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • GFS Business Growth – Align Kellanova Away From Home strategies with GFS priorities through joint business planning to drive growth beyond budget, increase points of distribution, and deepen customer penetration. Develop plans for independent foodservice, K12, healthcare, GFS stores, and e-commerce channels.
  • Team Selling – Bring together Commercial Strategy, Portfolio, Category Management, National Account Sales, and Supply Chain partners to build strong, sustainable partnerships and deliver the best customer experience.
  • Execution Excellence – Translate plans into actionable tactics at the local market level. Train and develop regional managers, segment leads, and account executives to effectively engage with GFS decision-makers and operators.
  • Analytics – Leverage industry insights and category management data (Circana, Tibersoft, Technomic, Cleveland Research) to identify opportunities, manage risks, and ensure accurate monthly forecasting in collaboration with finance and supply chain.
  • Trade Management – Negotiate and manage trade investments and operator programming to maximize ROI, increase distribution points, and strengthen account penetration.

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

  • Proven ability to analyze market and category insights, develop strategies, and translate plans into execution.
  • Strong history of building top-to-top relationships across complex customer headquarters and field teams.
  • Well-developed strategic selling and joint business planning skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills with experience managing large contracts.
  • Excellent presentation and executive presence.
  • Financial acumen and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • BA/BS Degree.

 

Compensation 

The annual salary range is $144,200-$189,200 which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available
