Title: Manager, Trade and Bid
Kellanova’s Away From Home (AFH) business unit is seeking a Manager, Trade & Bid to lead our K-12 Trade Planning and Bid Team. You will join a high-performing, collaborative team and play a crucial role in driving organizational growth. This hybrid position is based in Naperville, IL.
As a key member of the Away From Home Team, you will execute trade strategies for the K-12 business, drive profitable growth, and implement efficiency plans to achieve our business objectives. You will also collaborate seamlessly with internal and external customers, driving strategic and sustainable growth alongside cross-functional teams within the AFH division. This role has shared responsibilities overseeing the K-12 Bid Process and the Bid Team members.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Trade Planning – Implement and communicate trade strategy and plans across all AFH channels. Ensure customer contracts and initiatives align with AFH channel objectives, are profitable, well-organized, and properly executed.
- Sales Partnership – Provide guidance and direction to the sales team to ensure trade dollars drive performance and profitable growth in alignment with the strategic business plan. Interact with Sales Leadership to ensure cohesiveness.
- Drive Engagement – Partner closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, Commercial Strategy, Sales Finance, Category Strategy, Revenue Growth Management), to execute trade pricing and promotion principles ensuring programs are fiscally sound and support customer and channel growth plans.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience in Food Service or K-12 markets, with an understanding of customer dynamics
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to build detailed reporting
- SAP, Tibersoft and PowerBI experience
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve conflict and adapt to an ever-changing environment
Compensation
The annual salary range is $108,800 - $130,000, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
