Title: Associate Director, Finance
As Associate Finance Director for Kellanova’s Away From Home (AFH) business, you’ll lead financial analysis to support innovation and commercial activities across a diverse portfolio that includes convenience stores, cafeterias, college campuses, and airports. You’ll lead the monthly sales forecast and performance management, delivering insights into revenue, cost drivers, and profitability to inform investment decisions and long-term growth strategy. The role can be based in Chicago or Naperville, IL and will work in a hybrid model with weekly in-office days.
You’ll collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Strategy teams to ensure alignment between financial goals and business execution. Your work will influence pricing and promotional strategies, resource allocation, and strategic planning across the AFH landscape. Success in this role requires a balance of analytical rigor and strategic thinking, with a strong focus on maximizing value and ensuring financial integrity across the business.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Strategic Planning – You’ll lead the financial strategy and investment planning process for AFH channels, helping to define priorities and shape long-term growth. Your ability to connect high-level business objectives with detailed financial analysis will be key in guiding resource allocation and investment decisions.
- Business Partnering – You’ll act as a trusted financial advisor to AFH and cross-functional teams, providing insights that influence commercial strategy and execution. Through close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Strategy, you’ll ensure financial alignment and support data-driven decision-making.
- Financial Management – You’ll drive forecasting, modeling, and scenario planning to evaluate the financial impact of strategic initiatives. Your work will help the business manage risk, meet performance targets, and maximize value across the AFH portfolio.
- Performance Management – You’ll track and manage business performance, delivering visibility into revenue streams, cost structures, and profitability drivers. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving accountability and ensuring financial integrity across the business.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Strong technical proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with experience building detailed financial models
- Solid understanding of financial statements and working knowledge of GAAP
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all levels of the organization
- Proven leadership and people management experience
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently
- Ability to simplify complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights
Compensation
The annual salary range is $148,400 - $194,775, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
