Title:  Storeroom Inventory Associate

Description: 

 

As a Storeroom Inventory Associate you’ll have a passion for inventory control and vision for excellent results. You will be expected to comply with Safe Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices to assure all quality and production standards are met, to cross train in other part room jobs, and to proactively support all company needs. This position is based in our Muncy, PA plant and will be a 2nd shift role working 3p-11p. You will be an integral part of our maintenance team, helping keep our plant in tip-top shape so production can run smoothly.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing  

 

  • Inventory  We like to keep things organized, youll be ensuring physical inventory and adjustments are made. Store and maintain all parts in correct bin locations. Verify parts are issued correctly.
  • Process Improvement  continuous improvement is engrained into our culture, so we know youll fit right in as you make recommendations for changes and improvements to existing standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensuring Performance  Complete all K-Buy and SAP transactions for receiving parts, entering, and managing BOM’s, and functions associated with inventory control. Assist in the procurement of emergency parts location and pick up as directed. Kitting parts as directed by the MRO Supervisor and company policies. Maintain excellent record keeping. Order and maintain Production ink supplies, machine oil, belt dressing, etc. and other Storeroom-related duties as assigned.
  • Teamwork  teamwork is key as you work with supervisors, technicians and engineers on the procurement of parts for shutdown and routine maintenance activities
  • Procurement  you will be responsible for ordering, tracking, and receiving crucial parts to keep our operation running through use of the SAP system.

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

  • High School Diploma/GED with substantial related work experience
  • At least 1 year inventory planning experience
  • Maintenance planning software or inventory planning software experience
