Title:  Plant Facilities and Utilities Engineer

Description: 

Become a Facilities and Utilities Engineer at our Muncy, PA plant! Demonstrate your ownership mindset by overseeing the maintenance of our innovative facility and its equipment. You will also be responsible for implementing and sustaining continuous improvement initiatives related to all aspects of facilities and utilities.

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing  

  

  • Technical Improvements – The prime responsibility of this role will be to maintain and improve the facility and grounds.  Additional responsibilities include supporting facility maintenance, wastewater treatment systems, construction management, contractor management, and related contract management.
  • Project Creation and Management – As part of your role you will be implementing projects within your assigned area including execution of capital construction and facilities maintenance
  • Strategic Leadership – This role will have you directing and coordinating our contractors and working with the maintenance management. Ultimately, with the goal of utilizing their partnership to execute larger goals within the facility.  This position must effectively work with plant maintenance, engineering, production scheduling, operations, and other contracted services to achieve business goals.
  • Stay Compliant – Personnel safety and food safety are our highest priorities. You will be responsible for working to improve personnel safety through plant improvements and keeping compliance with all food safety policies and procedures related to infrastructure.

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, a technical field, or significant experience in related area, or GED/High School Diploma and 6+ years of related work experience.
  • Comprehensive technical background in a related field or role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Plant project management, construction and contractor management, communication, budgeting, and excellent human relations skills
  • Self-Driven work ethic, with the willingness to be on-call and work holidays as we capitalize on operational downtimes for the advancement of the Muncy facility
  • Strong mechanical and electrical systems knowledge

 

Compensation

 

The annual salary range is $100,560.00 - $131,985.00, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
