Title:  Financial Analyst

As a Financial Analyst, you will ensure our site’s financial viability while working hand in hand with our Leadership team at our Kellanova manufacturing facility.  You will interact directly with our Sweet Snacking Finance teams to provide guidance around reports, analytics, strategic plans, and targets. 

 As a key member of our Muncy, PA finance team, you contribute to the plant's financial success!  You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with other departments on process improvements and key initiatives, playing a vital role in supporting the plant's financial goals. This role offers a chance to learn and grow within a dynamic finance team.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

• Data Analysis and Financial Insights: Serve as the primary analytic resource, conducting complex financial analyses and generating reports for management. Provide insights and guidance on strategic plans, business plans, and targets. Ensure timely and accurate monthly financial closing, reporting, and submission of results.
• Decision Support and Consultative Interaction - Conduct comprehensive financial analyses and create models to support decision-making within Plant Finance. Work closely with Plant Management to monitor and report on key financial and non-financial performance indicators, such as Overhead, Cost Savings, and Cost Avoidance. Offer recommendations based on these insights.
• Production Execution and Costing - Manage daily production execution processes, validate accuracy, and process inventory adjustments and MRO cycle counts. Run daily usage reports, methods reporting, and maintain inventory adjustment trackers. Collect and analyze scrap data and update dashboards with notes on disposition processing and tracker updates.
• Costing and Month-End Close Activities - Handle ECN processing and validation, product setup, vendor chargebacks, and miscellaneous invoicing. Manage standard internal plant reporting and record various journal entries for accruals, etc. Ensure accurate and timely month-end closing activities. Assist with GR/IR variances and parked invoice resolution.
• Proactive Budgeting and Financial Analysis - Recommend updates to budgets and forecasts, identify ways to close gaps and address challenges. Review assumptions and translate them into financial budgets/forecasts for management review. Analyze utilities, salvage income, and safety metrics. Assist with variance training sessions and ensure best practices for controls and reporting

We’re Looking for Someone With

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Finance/Business related field with some work experience, OR High School Diploma and significant years of related work experience
• Strong analytical and communication skills and detail orientation  
• Strong PC skills with an emphasis on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of SAP and other financial planning systems
• Must be able to work rotating Friday’s & Sundays for production execution

Compensation

The annual salary range is $66,640 - $87,465, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
