Title: Supply Chain Innovation Analyst
Join Kellanova as a Supply Chain Innovation Analyst (12 Month Contract). In this role you will utilize your technical knowledge of packaging material and supply chain as you develop, implement and commercialize new packaging solutions across a wide range of product/package forms. With your self-starter, team-player work ethic, we’re positive you’ll fit right in. This is a hybrid role located in Mississauga, Ontario. We are looking to have someone join our team in May 2025.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Innovation/Renovation - Lead development and execution of new packaging materials/formats or optimize existing packaging materials/formats through technical analysis and operations performance testing. Develop prototypes for testing that meet the consumer and financial objectives outlined in the project development briefs. Provide input and lead/assist plant trials and production start-ups.
- Brand Maintenance & Continuous Improvement - Support graphics change projects by reviewing technical drawings, artwork files & gathering manufacturing inputs. Responsible for creating and maintaining packaging specifications in the system database. Partner with Procurement and Manufacturing teams to unlock cost savings opportunities.
- Project Management - Lead packaging change/graphics change projects by defining scope, creating project timelines and estimating project costs. Coordinate & lead cross functional project team meetings to track deliverables and performance metrics to execute projects on time and in budget.
- Work with External Partners - Provide support, planning, and coordination for work with external partners. Facilitate relationships with external supplier partners, third party logistics and contract manufacturers to ensure adequate flow of information and communication to adhere to project deliverables.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- Post Secondary education in Science, Engineering, Business or related field.
- Experience in packaging development and/or project management.
- Strong sense of urgency and desire to achieve.
- Experienced in problem-solving and managing projects
- Effective oral & written communication skills to convey complex and/or detailed information to a wide range of individuals/audiences with different knowledge levels.
- Working knowledge of PC's and proficiency in software such as MS Windows, MS Office Suite (including MS Project) & MS Teams.
- Experience with SAP is an asset.
