Title:  Senior Analyst, Business Planning

Description: 

As a Sr. Analyst, Business Planning of our team, you will serve as the go-to analytic resource, uncovering growth opportunities for our sales team. 

You’ll develop tools to enhance business understanding, track crucial performance metrics like sales growth and market share, and ensure we meet our weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc deliverables. Your collaboration with the sales team will be vital in contributing to our overall success.  This role is hybrid and based in Minneapolis, MN.

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Maximizing Business Plans - Partner with Account Executives to fully leverage Customer Marketing initiatives.  Identify opportunities and recommend solutions to maximize plans through analyzing data.
  • Analyzing Data - Evaluate numbers that show the success of our business – from brand promotions and spend to profit and loss metrics for sales volume and contribution margin. You’ll also analyze Nielsen data.
  • Providing Insights – Become the expert when it comes to Inventory Management, responsible for maintaining the relationship with the customer Inventory Analyst at Target. 

  

We’re Looking for Someone With

  • Proven experience in data analytics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including advanced expertise in Excel and experience building PowerPoint presentations
  • Advanced experience and proficiency in syndicated data tools such as Nielsen and IRI
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex ideas and insights
  • Demonstrated ability to approach problem-solving with a logical, structured, and analytical mindset
  • Ability to work in conditions which include multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities and specific time constraint
