Title: National Account Manager - Coles - 12 month fixed term contract
Kellanova is seeking a National Account Manager for our Coles account to join the business on a 12 month fixed term contract. This key account role is accountable for the Kellanova Breakfast strategy – our largest category where our presence in aisle is significant! Working closely with our customer buyer you will lead execution including promotional programs, range management, customer marketing and sales planning to deliver our targets.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in working to targets in volume, net sales and market share, whilst maintaining strong customer relationships and creating win/win outcomes.
This role can be based in either Sydney or Melbourne!
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Driving Coles breakfast volume, GSV, net sales, Gross Profit and market share
- Oversee accurate and effective management of Trade Investments for the breakfast business
- Ensure the execution of breakfast business programs are in line with the overall company strategy
- Develop new line breakfast launch plans to ensure speed to market, stock weight to store and sustainability post launch
- Working with the customer to expand ranging and distribution across Coles stores
- Contribute to the joint planning process with Coles for Breakfast to ensure an achievable, executable and aligned plan is in place with the customer, owning the breakfast component of this plan
- Ensure accurate forecasting of the breakfast business via the S&OP team
- Provide daily, weekly, monthly data to the customer as required
- Work closely with our field selling team to drive execution of programs
We’re Looking for Someone With
This role will suit an experienced National Account Manager familiar with the FMCG industry. You will thrive partnering with customers and stakeholders to ensure strategic outcomes that support mutual growth, you will also have:
- Degree qualified in Business or related field is advantageous
- Strong track record in Account Management within Grocery is highly desired
- Negotiation and influencing skills to get to successful outcomes for both parties
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of a P&L to assist in making strong decisions
- Track record in successfully managing often competing or changing priorities
