Title: Quality Head
Join Kellanova at our Linares Plant as Quality Head, a critical leadership role responsible for ensuring food safety, quality compliance, and continuous improvement across the entire manufacturing operation—from raw materials through finished goods. This role provides strategic and hands‑on leadership of quality systems, programs, and people, ensuring alignment with Kellanova Quality & Food Safety standards, regulatory requirements, and plant objectives.
You will lead quality operations at both the production floor and administrative levels, partnering closely with cross‑functional teams to drive strong execution, data‑based decision making, and a culture of quality excellence. This is a full‑time, on‑site role in Linares, reporting to the Quality & Food Safety Manager and supervising Quality team members.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Quality Management System Leadership – Maintain, update, and deploy Quality Management System documentation, Standard Operating Procedures, and Standard Conditions, ensuring consistent understanding and execution through training and regular follow‑up across the plant.
- Quality Programs & Process Oversight – Lead core quality programs including Product Evaluation (PES), Process and Packaging Controls, Hold & Release, Non‑Conforming Product, Traceability, and Recall, ensuring effective monitoring, data analysis, trend reporting, and corrective action execution.
- Operational Quality Assurance – Design and monitor process parameters and quality assurance systems to ensure materials, in‑process product, and finished goods meet company standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
- People & Performance Leadership – Coordinate, coach, and develop Quality Analysts, participating in technical and capability‑building training programs to strengthen quality and food safety competencies across the site.
- Continuous Improvement & Collaboration – Lead root cause analysis for deviations, complaints, and internal or external quality issues, and actively participate in innovation projects, trials, and cross‑functional initiatives within the plant.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related Quality or Food Safety discipline
- 2–4 years of experience in Quality, Food Safety, or related manufacturing environments
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, process control, food safety, and continuous improvement
- Advanced English proficiency
- Experience leading or coordinating quality teams in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office tools
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and drive corrective and preventive actions
