Title: Production Sr. Head
Do you enjoy leading teams and driving operational excellence on the production floor? Join our Supply Chain team as a Production Sr. Head, where you'll manage a team of Team Leaders to ensure operational continuity, compliance with safety and food safety standards, and continuous improvement of key OEE and service indicators.
In this role, you'll lead the execution of Autonomous Maintenance, Progressive Maintenance, and Daily Management System practices on the line, while contributing to strategic initiatives like Smart Factory and High Performance Teams. This role is based in Linares, Nuevo León.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
- Operational Continuity and Compliance: Ensure smooth plant operations by delivering on production plans and monitoring line performance, while guaranteeing compliance with corporate policies in EHS, Quality, Food Safety, and Regulatory areas.
- Team Leadership and Development: Provide clear direction, coaching, and feedback to Team Leaders and operators, promoting a collaborative work environment and supporting continuous training and development.
- Strategic Execution and Performance: Contribute to the production strategy with a focus on optimizing OEE, service, and cost, while supporting contingency planning and leading the execution of productivity and innovation projects.
- Systems Management and Continuous Improvement: Lead the execution of the Daily Direction Setting system and the Kellanova Work System, ensuring proper implementation of Autonomous Maintenance activities and consistent follow-up on improvement actions.
- Budget and Safety Ownership: Build and manage the annual budget for consumables and cleaning. Model safe behaviors, support safety initiatives like Safety Seven, and actively participate in Gemba Walks to reinforce a culture of prevention and operational excellence.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Food) or related field.
- Proficient in materials handling and Microsoft Office applications.
- At least two years of experience managing operations in a similar role.
- Responsible for budget planning and control.
- Intermediate to advanced English skills.
- Leads through coaching and by establishing effective systems that drive performance.
- Acts with urgency and ownership, ensuring accountability and delivering sustainable results.
