Title:  Sanitation Supervisor

Join our team at Kellanova’s Kansas City Bakery as a Sanitation Supervisor and help us deliver safe, high-quality products to consumers every day. In this critical leadership role, you’ll ensure our facility meets the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety while supporting a culture of excellence. You’ll work closely with plant leadership and cross-functional teams to maintain compliance with federal regulations and company guidelines. This position requires schedule flexibility, as it may start on night shift and transition to days based on business needs. The role follows an A 2-2-3 work schedule, providing a consistent rotation of days on and off. You’ll be part of a team that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement to keep our operations running smoothly.

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Lead Sanitation Operations – Direct and oversee daily activities for a crew of up to 55 employees, ensuring compliance with GMP and company guidelines.
  • Maintain Cleaning Standards – Develop and manage master cleaning schedules, SSOPs, and conduct audits and validations for allergen cleanings.
  • Drive Compliance & Safety – Coordinate GMP training, prepare for third-party audits (SQF), and ensure adherence to FDA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Manage Pest Control – Supervise pest control and dust control programs to maintain a safe and compliant environment.
  • Collaborate & Innovate – Work with vendors on cost-saving initiatives and new technologies to enhance sanitation processes.

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years in a food production environment.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of GMP, food safety, and sanitation practices.

 

Compensation

 

The annual salary range is $71,000 - $93,135, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
