Title:  HR Generalist

Description: 

As an HR Generalist at our Kansas City plant, you will be a pivotal part of our operations, working closely with a diverse team and contributing innovative ideas. Your meticulous attention to detail and ability to multitask will be essential in strategizing operational plans and achieving impactful results. You will ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations, fostering a culture of integrity and respect. Regular audits and training sessions will be part of your routine to keep the workforce informed and compliant with the latest HR policies and employment laws. Additionally, you will mediate conflicts and facilitate resolutions to maintain a harmonious work environment. Promoting a positive workplace culture will help drive employee satisfaction and retention.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Employee Liaison- Act as the primary point of contact for HR-related questions and inquiries from employees at all levels.
  • Kickstart Success- Coordinate the job posting process for hourly roles, manage candidate screening, oversee the Technician probationary process, and assist with new hire orientation.
  • Support and Assist- Work with HR business partners and Kellanova Work Systems Centers of Excellence. Handle administrative tasks related to the Technician Training Program, qualifications, HR metrics reporting, attendance tracking, Family Medical Leave (FMLA), disability case management, and the return-to-work process.
  • Innovate and Improve- Identify and recommend improvements to streamline HR processes.
  • Drive Engagement—Oversee the plant's employee engagement program, aiming to boost engagement among salaried and hourly employees.

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous HR experience with a strong understanding of HR practices and procedures.
  • Proven ability to work effectively with employees at all organizational levels
  • Ability to work varying hours as needed.
