Title:  Employee Relations Manager III

Description: 

As an Employee Relations Manager at our Jackson, TN, facility, you'll be an integral part of the Human Resources Team. You'll work closely with the Site HR Director to effectively drive employee engagement and manage conflict. You'll collaborate with plant staff, including Supervisors, Managers, Generalists/Schedulers, and Hourly employees, fostering a thriving environment of professional development and teamwork.

 

In this role, you'll be a key business partner with leadership to manage KPIs, goals, and initiatives. You will work alongside the Site HR Manager to implement HR programs that drive standardization across the division while meeting plant business needs. Educating plant management in developing and implementing required programs and processes to create a positive work environment for all team members is essential. Additionally, you'll support the team member training and development process by identifying current and future business needs to develop strategies that address succession gaps and provide internal development opportunities.

 

A Taste of What You'll Be Doing

 

  • Set the Pace  Drive the overall management of Employee Relations activities for the plant, including providing direction to site leaders, leading fundamental employment law, and establishing proper plant policies and rules.
  • Collaboration is Key  Serve as liaison between Site HR Director, Kellanova North America Manufacturing Business Unit HRBP, and Global Business Services (GBS) as appropriate.
  • Fresh Thinking  Ensure timely communication with employees and management regarding new initiatives and policies, including regulatory updates.
  • Tools for Success  Drive managers and employees to adopt HR technology, service delivery models, and programs. Redirect HR inquiries to the most efficient and effective resource (technology, service center, etc.).
  • Managing Employee Relations Matters  Lead in managing employee relations matters. Conduct investigations, present findings, and assist with determining appropriate corrective actions and resolutions.

We're Looking for Someone With

 

  • Bachelor's degree in a related area and 4 years of experience, OR a High school diploma/GED and 7 years of experience in labor relations.
  • Strong positive employee relations and problem-solving skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience driving manager and employee adoption of HR technology and service delivery models.
  • Ability to educate plant management in developing and implementing required programs and processes.

Compensation

 

The annual salary range is $105,100 - $137,970, which is based on various factors such as location, experience, and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
