Title:  Electrical and Instrumentation Technician

We are looking for team players who want to grow their career on our Electrical & Instrumentation team. Pay starts at $29.73/hr + shift differential, with room for promotion up to $35.62/hr. Our great benefits, including Medical, Dental, Vision and 401-k, all starting day 1. A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Maintaining Equipment and Amplifying your PLC knowledge – Constantly alternating between troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and on the spot machine repair
  • Analyzing Conditions and Providing Solutions - Identifying and examining production equipment failures to understand root cause analysis, with the help of interpreting schematics and drawings. Investigating and repairing electrical & mechanical systems such as: pneumatics, hydraulics, DC circuits, drives and conveyors.
  • Continuous Improvement  Making electrical improvements that impact results for the operating lines
  • Preventative Maintenance  Completing assigned preventative maintenance on your shift
  • Collaborate and Engage – Working with various departments across your assigned location at the site, including operations and support resources to deliver results meet business needs

 

Your Recipe for Success

 

  • 2 Year Technology degree in related field (can be in the last semester of school), OR 2+ years electrical experience, OR Military experience in an advanced electronics field
  • Must be able to explain, PLC (Rockwell), VFD, HMI (panel views), Motor control systems including servos, Instrumentation (process controls)
  • Physically must be able to stand for long hours and be able to lift at or above waist at a maximum of fifty pounds. Must also be able to work at heights
  • Availability to work all shifts on a rotating schedule including weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
  • Ability to read and interpret basic electrical and electronic/mechanical drawings, prints, schematics, and computer programs
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Open to being task qualified and enter electrical panels to maintain related hardware
