Title:  Key Account Manager Travel and Retail Duty Free

The Key Account Manager lies within the International Dutch duty-free team, part of a BENELUX Business Unit. You’ll be working in a high performing team, alongside peers always trying to reach the next level. You’ll be reporting into the Business Manager & Global Duty-Free Manager. The delivery of challenging sales goals and strategic relation coverage will be your primary responsibility. You will also be in charge of constantly looking for improvement activities within your area of responsibility.

 

This is a hybrid role based out of our 's-Hertogenbosch Head Office and working from home.

Here’s A Taste Of What You Will Be Doing 

 

  • Managing distributors and customers for a number of markets within the Globe.
  • Taking orders and ensuring sales commitment is met
  • Managing the P&L of the area, responsible for achieving the sales target and for preparing the area’s forecast
  • Preparing and leading the negotiations with customers of the yearly join business plans (listings, pricing, investment, activation, etc)
  • Working cross-functionally with marketing, trade marketing and revenue management on the execution of promotional and other sell-out activities
  • Maintaining regular data exchange with customers (e.g. verification of turnover, stock, market shares reports)
  • Performing analysis on the area of responsibility and suggesting actions for improvement
  • Finding category approach opportunities driving the category growth

Please kindly note that you need to have an EU Working Permit (Orientation Year Visa not included), or be an EU Citizen, in order to proceed for this position. Please make sure you put your nationality on your resume. Unfortunately, we can't proceed with non-European citizens who need support for a working permit.

 

  • Education: Master’s degree in management, marketing or economics, engineering
  • Work Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Sales; Trade marketing/marketing experience is an advantage
  • Advantage for the role is Travel Retail experience
  • Languages: Dutch native speaker, excellent English skills, other languages are a pre
