Title: Key Account Manager and Field Sales Manager

Based in Espoo, you’ll report to Business Unit Manager and you’ll work with our local and regional team to build profitable volume (Ready to eat cereals and Snacks) and market share within assigned Key Account portfolio, all while thinking strategically and planning ahead.

A Taste of What You’ll be Doing
- Strategic Account Management: Establish brand-specific objectives for distribution, volume, space management, and profitability. Develop and implement account-specific strategies to achieve these objectives. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer development. Propose and obtain approval for actions that align with Company objectives.
- Contribute to the monthly S&OP process for Finland, ensuring a robust and insight-driven in-market perspective for Kesko, with a strong demand signal and a balanced, proactive management of risks and opportunities
- Trade Campaigns and Coordination: Design and execute profitable trade campaigns tailored to each Key Account. Collaborate closely with the Business Unit Manager, Field Sales Manager, and Sales Coordinator. Keep all stakeholders informed about Key Account activities and coordinate efforts.
- Lead and Build Capabilities of the Field Sales team: Manage a team of Field Sales Representatives by setting periodical base-sales and campaign targets, strengthening selling capabilities, and providing ongoing coaching to build a high-performing, winning team.
We’re Looking for Someone With
- A completed University degree (bachelor’s in business) or equivalent.
- Sales experience in an FMCG environment, including Key Account Management (KAM) experience.
- Broad, diverse and significant customer experience (ideally Kesko Key Account Management (KAM) experience with ability to impact and influence customer at all levels of management
- Significant grocery customer facing experience, at all levels including priority customers with a track record of results, impact and influence
- Analytical Skills, having experience in forecasting and analyzing sales data.
- Industry Knowledge, having in-depth understanding of trade marketing, category management principles, Finnish trade structure, and retail partners.
- Fluency in English and Finnish
