Title:  BU Manager, Finland

Description: 

As a Business Unit Manager for our office in Espoo, Finland you will play a pivotal role responsible for leading, shaping, and executing the market and customer strategy for Kellanova Finland. The position requires a high level of seniority in both people leadership and strategic thinking, combining strong execution with the ability to influence at all levels.

 

Based in Espoo, you’ll report to our Market Head of Nordics countries and you’ll work with our local and regional team to drive sustainable growth across our Cereals and Snacks portfolio.

 A Taste of What You’ll be Doing

 

 
  • Lead the development and execution of the end-to-end market strategy (full P&L ownership) for Finland
  • Lead the monthly S&OP process for Finland, ensuring a robust and insight-driven in-market perspective, with a strong demand signal and a balanced, proactive management of risks and opportunities
  • Develop and execute customer strategies that deliver against strategic and commercial ambitions, acting as a strong internal ambassador for the voice of the customer
  • Build and maintain a network of senior, strategic relationships across key customer functions (e.g. buying, supply chain, category, and marketing)
  • Set clear direction and lead the team to deliver against key input and output metrics, including net sales, gross margin and gross profit, forecast accuracy, trade investment, distribution, and overheads, while maximising return on investment within the market
  • Serve as a member of the Nordics Leadership Team, with responsibility for shaping the strategy of the sub-cluster

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

 

  • Completed University degree. Highly numerate and analytical, with strong communication and influencing skills.
  • Broad, diverse and significant customer experience (ideally market lead experience) with ability to impact and influence customer of all sizes, at all levels of management
  • FMCG Industry Knowledge, having in-depth understanding of trade marketing, category management principles, Finnish trade structure, and retail partners.
  • Significant people management experience is required along with a demonstrated ability to set and communicate a clear vision, coach for performance and development and engage teams 
  • Experience of working in a multi-functional business unit environment. Knowledge of broad business management and commercial management skills (business forecasting, financial analysis, P&L management, supply side knowledge).
  • Fluency in English and Finnish
