Title:  Reliability Planning & Maintenance Manager

As a Reliability Planning & Maintenance Manager at our Grand Rapids Plant, you’ll play a key role in driving operational excellence through strategic maintenance planning and reliability initiatives. You’ll be part of a collaborative and experienced maintenance leadership team, supporting one of our key Food & Cereal Sites (FCS). This role offers the chance to lead a high-performing team, influence strategic goals, and contribute to the production of trusted food brands that bring better days to millions.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Driving Maintenance Reliability – Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to increase equipment reliability while managing the maintenance parts budget for optimal performance.
  • Strategic Planning & Execution – Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of planned and predictive maintenance activities, using root cause analysis and problem-solving to mitigate issues. Utilizing the newest technologies and software for reporting, presentations and analysis. 3D printing experience a plus.
  • Championing Safety – Support and enhance site-wide safety programs, establishing consistent benchmarks to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Leading & Developing Teams – Manage maintenance supervisors, support staff, and hourly skilled trades oversee scheduling, and drive skills training to ensure a high-performing workforce.

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Industrial Technology, or related discipline
  • Demonstrated leadership in plant maintenance or equipment reliability within manufacturing, with a track record of driving operational excellence
  • Experience managing large teams of both salaried and hourly employees
  • Proven expertise in maintenance systems (e.g., CMMS), budgeting, and implementation of TPM, RCM, BDE, FMEA, and predictive/preventive maintenance strategies
  • Success in developing and sustaining safety programs tailored to maintenance operations

Compensation

 

The annual salary range is $109,280- $143,430, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
