Title:  Plant Operations Manager III

Are you ready to lead in a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment? We’re seeking a Plant Operations Manager III to join our Grand Rapids, MI facility. If you have a proven ability to build high-performing teams, thrive in a fast-paced setting, and excel at managing multiple priorities, this opportunity is for you.

 

As a key member of the plant leadership team, you’ll drive operational excellence across production, maintenance, safety, and quality. Your leadership will directly impact our performance, culture, and continuous improvement efforts. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

 

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Lead By Example – Champion operational performance by setting and achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Ensure compliance with plant standards and drive continuous improvement through MCRS (multi-component reactions) elements.
  • Drive Strategic Planning – Contribute to business planning and budgeting by developing cost containment and reduction strategies. Oversee project execution and ensure timely delivery of results. Manage raw material conversion into finished goods across assigned areas and shifts.
  • Foster Continuous Improvement – Implement and sustain lean manufacturing practices. Promote a culture of safety, quality, and sanitation compliance. Develop and mentor your team to meet evolving business needs.

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

  • Proven leadership experience in manufacturing operations
  • Strong background in lean principles and team engagement
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage complex situations and drive results
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • High school diploma or GED required

 

Compensation

 

The annual salary range is $145,700 - $191,205, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
